Terms and conditions
GENERAL TERMS
BY COMMISSIONING TO THE ARTIST, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE.
This can change if discussed with the artist about the commission
These terms and conditions outline rules and regulations for the use of commissioned works of zmarionarts.
By commissioning to the artist, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Commissioned works are for personal use only and NOT for resale or commercial use. For commercial use, e-mail me at [email protected]
No requesting of other art styles. Illustrations will be drawn in my own interpretation and art style.
Provide clear references and/or description of what you want in your commission.
The artist has the right to decline commission requests.
WIPs and/or finished commissions will be posted online unless the client requests otherwise.
All finished commissions will include watermark to ensure they will not be used for commercial purposes. You can print, frame, and use it on however you like but do not remove the watermark or claim it as yours.
Once the commission is done, the illustration will only have 1-3 free revisions.
All outputs will be in soft copy (either PNG, JPEG, PDF) and will be sent through e-mail only. Additional charges may apply if the client requests for the raw file.
The commission will take 1 week to 2 months depending on the queue, complexity of the illustration, and/or personal schedule. Additional charges may apply for rushed commissions.
Payment via PayMaya, GCash, or PayPal only.
I will not be held responsible if the client has not or did not read the terms and conditions.
PAYMENT
Once the request is confirmed, the client must at least pay 50% before the artist creates the illustration or sketch.
A proof of payment must be sent in order to close the deal; you may either send it via email or through chat.
Payment via PayMaya, GCash, or PayPal only.
REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS
If the payment has not been settled within 3 days, the commission will be cancelled, and you will have to send a new form.
The client may only cancel if invoice has not been sent/paid yet.
After the commission’s sketch has been approved by the client, it is non-refundable.
Refunds may only be granted if the commission has not been started, and/or I am unable to complete the commission.
PROCESS
The artist will contact you via email if your commission has been approved or denied. If approved, the artist will be sending you an invoice as well.
Once the payment has been received, the artist will start on sketch.
Once sketch has been approved, I will then start coloring/designing the commission.
The finished commission will be sent to you via Google Drive/E-mail.
No major changes allowed when sketch has been approved and when the commissioned work is done. Only small changes are allowed.
TIMELINE
The commission may take 1 week to 2 months depending on the queue, complexity, and/or personal schedule.
Inform the artist if the illustration is needed in a sooner date. You may apply for a rush commission with additional charges.
COPYRIGHT POLICY
The artist owns the intellectual property rights for all commissioned works. The client’s commissioned works are for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions. For commercial use, please e-mail me at [email protected]
You must not:
• Republish material of the commissioned work
• Sell, reproduce, duplicate and profiting off it (unless discussed upon)
• Redistribute the commissioned work
• Alter the commission in any way, editing or removing the watermark.
